Weather your making this for yourself or a loved one this workshop is perfect for those wanting to start making clothes. The pattern we use is available in size xxs - 5xl. 
We will learn how to use an overlocker during this workshop. This workshop is suitable for beginners but it’s advised that you know the basics, you know how to sew a straight line and thread up a machine. 
You will be taught how to cut out a pattern how to read and understand a commercial sewing pattern. We will then follow the pattern together step by step to create your sweatshirt. Sewing seams, sewing in sleeves and how to sew jersey cuffing and neckbands using an overlocker. 
What will you need to bring with you - you will need 1.5 to 2 meters of french terry jersey cotton or a sweatshirt weight fabric. You may need more if you choose a directional patterned fabric. You will also need some matching cuffing for the neckband and cuffs. You will be send info nearer the time of the workshop with more details of fabric choice and sizes.
What will be provided on the day and what will I go home with? 
CRAFT has 4 overlockers but if you have your own machine you can bring it with you as long as its in good working order. All the equipment needed to make the pattern. You will also get a pattern to take home so you can make them in all different colours! We will also provide tea, coffee and biscuits throughout the session.
Please note there is a minimum number of 3 bookings for the class to go ahead. If 2 days before the workshop there is 3 or less bookings the class may be postponed and rescheduled.
