THIS COURSE WILL COVER
Suitable for beginner sewists, the class will cover:
· How to cut your fabric and make all necessary markings
· How to sew facing.
· How to finish a hem.
WHO IS THIS CLASS FOR?
This class is suitable for beginner sewists. Anyone who can use a sewing machine and has used a paper pattern before.
YOU WILL NEED TO BRING:
You will need to bring fabric suitable for making your top, linen, cotton or lightweight denim. You will need 1.8m and matching thread for your top.
You will be sent a full list of requirements before the course starts. Drinks and snacks will be provided throughout the sessions. Please feel free to also bring your own refreshments if preferred.
WHERE WILL THE WORKSHOP BE?

All classes take place in our studio space in Sheffield. We are on the main bus route along Abbeydale road.
We have a dedicated workshop space. We are located within The Old Coach House building. Access is via a flight of stair. Unfortunately we aren’t accessible to wheelchairs or pushchairs.
The studio has 8 Brother sewing machines, 4 Brother overlockers and all the sewing equipment you need for your sewing projects. We have a fully equipped kitchen and toilet.
