This workshops is perfect for children aged between 7 - 16 yrs who would love to learn how to sew.
This class will teach your child how to create a personalised cushion cover.
Children under the age of 11 must be accompanied by an adult during the workshop.
What will you learn during the workshop?
• how to cut fabric correctly using a paper pattern pieces.
• how to use a sewing machine.
• how to sew a straight lines and curved edges.
• learn how to use simple appliqué techniques.
What will you need to bring to the workshop?
You will need to provide the fabric for your cushion cover and a cushion pad. More information will be sent out before the class.
CRAFT studio has plenty of sewing machines but if you’d like to bring your own please make sure it’s in good working order.
Please note that when booking children under 11yr will need to be accompanied by an adult who will be required to stay for the duration of the workshop.
