Slow down and Sew is a chance to spend time away, immersing yourself in sewing and learning without the distractions of everyday life.
A day spent in a beautifully restored chapel, sewing and creating with a group who are as passionate about making as you are.

What’s included -
Welcome drinks and something to snack on while you get settled into the space and get comfortable for a day of sewing.
A morning sewing in the beautiful restored chapel that was built in 1884. Space to sew and socialise. Slow down and catch up.
After a morning of sewing we will break for lunch and retire to the lodge where we will enjoy a delicious lunch provided by the Victoria Kitchen.
We will head back to an afternoon of more sewing and a chance to attend a Sashiko masterclass for anyone wanting to learn the art of visible mending.
We will round the day off with drinks and farewells in the courtyard.
Dietary requirements will be catered for and a menu will be sent out prior to the day.
Please note you will be required to bring along your own sewing machine.
Irons, overlockers and
Fabric and Pattern swap.
CRAFT and Victoria love sustainability which is why we will also have an area where we can bring our unused fabric and patterns and take away new ones!!
We all have a couple of meters (or 10) of fabric we thought we loved but haven’t found a use for or that pattern you haven’t had chance to use and know you never will. Bring them along and they can find a new home!
CRAFT retreat goodie bags are also included in the price. Who doesn’t love a goodie bag!!
PAYING A DEPOSIT TO SECURE YOUR PLACE -
If you’d prefer to pay a deposit now and pay the remaining balance nearer the date you can either choose to pay £50 or £75 towards your booking fee. You will be sent an invoice 14 days before the retreat and full payment will need to be paid by the 1st October.
